Over the past 40 years, the U.S. has dedicated a tremendous amount of law enforcement resources to prevent people from using drugs. But instead of protecting the health and well-being of Americans, all the government did was to bankrupt the nation financially and morally. Here we take a look at the impact the war on drugs has had on the American society since it was first launched in 1971.
